About This Role

Hello, prospective pickle! Design Pickle is looking for an experienced Director, Global Talent Operations to join our Finance & Administration team.

The ideal candidate will create efficient and scalable programs related to our global recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employer branding, and regional management. They will also be required to support and manage the growth of cross-functional global teams. Given our aspirational vision to be the most helpful creative platform in the world, and the nature of our global operations, this role requires entrepreneurial drive and thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to break down and solve complex problems.

Reports to: Vice President of Finance & Administration

On a daily basis, works closely with Global Operations, Product Management, Finance, Customer Success and People Teams

Location: Design Pickle is a fully remote company with a Company Hub in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Specific to your role, we’re looking for individuals who have...

  • Proven ability to create and deliver global recruiting process improvements
  • Expertise in global process improvement and technology systems related to hiring and recruiting
  • Experience establishing relationships with regional talent acquisition partners such as universities, programs, and networking groups
  • Good project management and communication skills. Our team works remotely, and we need to know you can manage your time effectively.
  • 5+ years experience in global or regional talent operations
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role

  • Experience monitoring and optimizing recruitment performance metrics.
  • Direct involvement in implementing an HRIS and maintaining employee and contractor records.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Develop and control global talent acquisition budgets
  • Implement, deploy and manage tools and technical solutions
  • Influence the technology decisions by assessing the current and future needs of the organization
  • Utilize data to make recommendations in areas such as recruiting, pipelines, employer branding, and market analysis
  • Support change management and appropriate communication plans to ensure new processes and systems are rolled out effectively on a global scale while ensuring that all stakeholders and users are represented to ensure program success.
  • Build and maintain sustainable programs for a diverse global workforce
  • Partner with training to roll out new technologies, workflows, and processes.
  • Deliver global talent and platform operations
  • Ensure consistently high delivery quality through regularly updated training programs, materials, the establishment of transparent processes, and support articles.
  • Coordinate with teams across Design Pickle to roll out initiatives and deliver seamless operation.
  • Identify recurring issues and implement solutions for process improvements.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports for Global Operations and Production.
